I am a native to Northern California and more specifically to the Sacramento Area. Born in Roseville, I grew up in Auburn and Orangevale. I attended American River College and CSU Sacramento. After serving in the United States Air Force as an Avionics Instrument Repair Specialist, I moved to the Bay Area to pursue a career in the high-tech industry. I spent 21 years in the San Jose area before returning to my roots. Since then I have lived in and enjoyed the Roseville, El Dorado Hills, and Fair Oaks communities.
My background in the military and high-tech industries served to reinforce my strong work ethic and drive to succeed whilst maintaining the utmost integrity and quality of my work.
I am committed to serving my community and participate as:
* A supporter (and mother of an athlete) for the Folsom Hills/Northern California Special Olympics.
* Member of the Kappa Tau chapter of Omega Nu. A women’s sorority founded in Sacramento over 100 years ago, our local chapter, through fundraising efforts, donates money and time to local women’s and children’s non-profit organizations, provides scholarships to local students, and donates time to local clean-up efforts (such as maintaining a section of the American River).
* As a Neighborhood Watch volunteer, I attend local sheriff’s briefings as it relates to my home and community and disseminate this and other pertinent information to my neighbors.
* As an advocate to parents with special needs children (more specifically Autism-spectrum disorders) I volunteer letter-writing services as well as attend school meetings to advocate on behalf of parents/children for additional support services.
I have a passion for all things “home” – most specifically gardening, cooking, entertaining and organizing. With my family grown, I am excited to be focusing on helping others realize their dream of finding a house to call home. Because coming home should absolutely be the best part of the day!!
